Tiffany Barber, APRN Joins Young Health Center

Young Foundational Health Center welcomes to their staff Tiffany Barber, APRN. A true Floridian, Barber was born and raised in a small town north of Tampa. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Anthropology with a focus in Biocultural studies and a Master of Science in Nursing. She spent several years practicing as an RN in orthopedics at a local hospital before pursuing her goal of becoming a nurse practitioner.

 Barber graduated from the USF’s Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner program and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She is Board Certified in Adult Gerontology Acute Care with an additional certification in Orthopedics.

 In her spare time, Barber is cycling (having participated in 165-mile bike rides from Miami to Key West, five times), kayaking and hiking. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their black Lab Spartacus.
