This enables the person to have enough understanding and merit in the present to first get over the shock of coming across the Lord and then to have enough faith to take the step toward becoming a student again. So attending is not so easy, as we not only have to start grounding out our understanding of Jesus the Christ being here (and constantly reincarnating to boot), but face courageously the real or imaginary implications of what attending might mean for the future. We all have a current life situation and trajectory derived from our habitual ways of thinking and behaving, What if it really is Jesus the Christ, what will the teachings mean for one's future and way of life?
