During a full moon, the ocean tides are higher than usual from an increase in gravitational pull from the moon and sun. Considering that our bodies are eight percent water, scientists and astrologers have thought that the moon has an impact on us as well. There is a pull to reflect on emotions stored within ourselves, memories of past experiences stirred up like sand at the bottom of the ocean.

A beautiful time to take a sacred pause, be with our sensation, and allow clarity and inspiration to arise through intention and meditation. The full moon we will be celebrating falls on March 7, and is called the "Full Worm Moon". This celestial event occurs during the time of year when earthworms start to emerge from the soil. As they rise through the soil, they represent a new season of growth and abundance. Since we are a part of nature, we can utilize this transition in the season to ignite healing and growth within our inner world.

The worm moon marks a time of new beginnings, and transformation from dormancy to regeneration.

We will begin, and end, with a safe and optional sharing circle, where everyone has the chance to share openly and be met with presence and compassion.

We will be participating in a cacao ceremony blessed with Reiki intention, breathwork, and guided meditation for heart healing. Cacao is a healing drink for the mind, body, and spirit to support the activation of the heart and third eye chakra. As we awaken and learn to live from our hearts, we create a better world of peace and harmony. Our featured cacao is produced sustainably and locally by Western herbalist Sara Ratza of Ratza chocolate, in the heart of Tarpon Springs.

We will embody breathwork practices to heal the body and mind in preparation for our sound therapy. Using harmonies that move energy through the body to release tension and blockages, you will be led through a musical journey that can inspire healing, personal growth, and connection.

Sound Alchemy sessions with Nina Marie include a Gong Bath, Rav drum, Buffalo Drum, Native American Flute, Koshi Chimes, Crystal Singing Bowls, Rainsticks, Ocean drum, Tuning forks, Frequency healing, and other soothing instruments to support mind, body, and spirit wellness. 

Nina Marie is a Yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, and sound therapist. Nina intends to create a sacred space where you can find alignment and connect to inner peace.
