20th Annual National Herb Day Celebration

On Saturday, May 2nd, from 10 AM to 4 PM, herbalists and supporters of plant-based medicine will gather for Herb Day 2026, a free public event celebrating the role of plants in health and wellness. The event will take place in the West Central Corridor of St. Petersburg and is hosted by Acupuncture & Herbal Therapies and the Traditions School of Herbal Studies at 6340 Central Avenue.

Herb Day is open to the public and includes educational lectures, herb and food tastings, botanical teas, and locally grown medicinal plants for sale. Herb-related vendors from the St. Petersburg area will be present.

Registered Herbalist and Acupuncture Physician Bob Linde notes that Herb Day offers an opportunity to connect with community members and promote herbal education and safety. The event is designed for anyone interested in learning more about herbs and their responsible use.

The St. Petersburg celebration is a collaboration with the Florida Herb Society, the West Coast Chapter of the American Herbalists Guild, and the Traditions School of Herbal Studies, with raffle proceeds benefiting local herbal organizations. Lectures will be held every 30 minutes throughout the day.
