Natural Awakenings Tampa Florida

Letter from the Publisher

This month we welcome the winter solstice to our snug community on the Bay. Once again, this magazine is packed with news and views supportive of the continuing growth of the natural health movement.
In “Sacred Activism” (page 26), writer Judith Fertig underscores the power of love, spirit and unity in actions we take. In this month’s Conscious Eating department (page 36), writer Lane Vail suggests “Happy Feasting to All”, including ways to highlight and revitalize the spiritual nature of this extraordinary season.
Check out the family fun scheduled this month at the Florida Aquarium (FLAquarium.org). Meet Santa and his animal friends at “Breakfast with Santa” activities on the 20th. December 26 through 30 the Aquarium’s Holiday FantaSea events promise a real snow play area for the kids, light shows, holiday themed activities and more.
On December 31, First Night again fires up in downtown St. Petersburg, welcoming 2015 to our shoreline. This now traditional Bay Area gathering is a grand combination of treats for people of all ages, all done in a festive, artistic kind of way. See FirstNightStPete.com/schedule for the multitude of things they have planned. With love, the possibilities are limitless!
Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and perfect holiday. As always, open your mind and read on.
